NIKE RSL
All materials, finished products, packaging and items manufactured for or supplied to Nike and its Licensees must comply with the requirements in the Nike Chemistry Playbook as well as applicable legal limits and regulatory requirements.
We routinely update the Nike RSL to keep suppliers informed about new global regulatory requirements as well as Nike’s voluntary restrictions on chemicals.

All finished goods must meet all the Nike RSL requirements as well as applicable legal limits and regulatory requirements.

How Nike RSL Testing Works
1. Supplier requests access to the Nike RSL Testing Application
Follow steps in the
Nike RSL Testing Application Login Assistance Guide to create an account.
2. Supplier uses the Nike RSL Testing Application to create a Test Request Form (TRF)
The material sample submitted for testing must represent a production-ready material. Describe your material sample accurately in the TRF.
3. Supplier sends a copy of the TRF and the material sample to a Nike-Approved Laboratory for RSL testing
A list of Nike-Approved Laboratories can be found in the Contact section of the
Nike Chemistry Playbook & RSL.
4. Supplier reviews results to confirm compliance with the Nike RSL
In the event of a FAIL result, follow the steps in the Quarantine Resolution Form (QRF) and Failure Resolution Form (FRF) in the Nike RSL Testing Application.
5. Supplier must retest materials every 12 months or whenever chemistries change
Nike RSL Test Reports are valid for 12 months from the date the Nike-Approved Laboratory performed the test. Materials must be retested whenever their chemistries change.
